This Shiny portal was developed to support analysis of temperature changes across British Columbia. Data draws from CMIP6 climate models that have been statistically downscaled and transformed to account for local climates.

In the portal, users can analyze temperature projections at a population centre (StatCan), health authority, or provincial scale. The link above will take users to an iframe Shiny app (the base Shiny app is available here).

This Shiny portal was developed for researchers and Northerners to explore how climate change may affect travel on the land and sea in the decades to come. The link above will open an iframe Shiny app (the base Shiny app is available here).

This portal and the modelling are described in the paper ‘Projected changes to trail access in the Arctic‘ by Dr. James Ford and Dylan Clark.
